What’s Happening – June 18, 2016

What’s Happening… The hot items on the agenda these days are finishing up roadside mowing, cleaning up equipment, shipping corn and post spraying the soybeans when conditions are fit.

La-Lyn Farms raises 100% ngmo soybeans which means that the selection of herbicides is limited and timeliness of application very important.

The kids are having a ball this summer and the boys love hanging out around the shop learning the ropes and going swimming any chance they get!

The crops are looking good overall but are going to be in need of a rain after the next couple days of high 80 degree temps that are coming up. The corn is 100% side-dressed and looking top notch! The soybeans that were planted on a certain panting date are a little more of a mixed bag due to the frost that hit them at emergence but the rest are looking great!
